by Joe B. Black And Rainbow Love Month Its that month again of His/herstory and love. Ms. Yvonne King,eldest daughter of Martin Luther King Jr. spoke of her late father’s "Dream" and how many of us may have lost our way. Ms. Yvonne has her father’s oratory fire and an infectious sense of humor combined with urgency. I was with a friend but left to get her the last of my phone cards. On returning I am sitting in the back rows listening I knew I’d be late working Sunday at Poor’s office,but then it is Sunday so I figured J.C.,his spirit brother, and,Big G-the literal Godfather would spare for honoring his abode in prayer,song,and holy dance. Didn’t remember the book of poems or inspirational stories because the non profit media job does not run me, no the drip of ink on paper,or electronic bits on a PC screen is important enough to concentrate on while in the lords home. As with parties, celebrations,plain old day off fun I leave that behind because my work is not me,what I do is separate from what I am which is essentially living a humble,quiet, uneventful life; my highest goal in life to live it as long and with as much love before moving on to the next level of existence. I still must clean up my place before Housing Authority see’s my sloppy side. Don’t know what say to all of you who haven’t placed questions on my askjoe site – I’ll keep asking and if no one posts anything well – That means its not my fault and readers would rather read than write what’s on their minds.
