Blacks, Browns have a 90%
chance of dying in peaceful protests.

What ticks law enforcement off when
BLk's/Brn's protest in rightous justice?

Folks there’s always been a difference in how lives are valued in America Black, Brown children hurt, injured, killed by drunk drivers or red light runners are not a valuable as a white child’s life taken in the same way.

Why is it that when blacks scream, warn of things going awry we’re not listened to but when what we warned about comes true who gets blamed the messenger.

I know some of you have been in a situation when you did your civic duty calling police to prevent, or as something begins to break off.

Who do they suspect when they knock on your door? YOU!

Is it any wonder people of color don’t call police. Before police picked who they ruffed up, beat on, torture, and killed.

Regular white bread citizens knew cops protected them from those mean street people from barrios, ghetto’s, or Asian, Philippine, or other non white neighborhoods.

I was reading about journalists of color getting bashed basically for doing their jobs a few weeks ago in Oakland - At a National Student Strike against the war on March 5 Oakland Police attacked youth and several elderly people accompanying them.

The two Black Journalists Beaten and Arrested at Peace March by San Francisco Bay View Newspaper Gathering in downtown Oakland's Frank Ogawa Plaza, high school and college students from San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley and around the Bay Area walked out of classes in support of peace.

As 300 to 400 students marched peacefully down Broadway toward Jack London Square carrying a banner, singing and chanting in the tradition of nonviolent protest, members of the Oakland Police Department began following the protesters.

The number of officers steadily increased.

Once the students reached Jack London Square, police began attacking them, running into the demonstrators with their
motorcycles.

Ra'shida Askey, managing editor and staff writer for the San Francisco Bay View newspaper, asked officers why they were running over the young marchers.

In response, a black female police officer grabbed Ra'shida by the neck and placed her in a choke hold.

The Bay View's associate editor, JR Valrey, who was also covering the march, came to his colleague's aid. At this point, several officers swarmed both JR and Ra'shida, knocking them to the ground and beating them both.

The above taken from www.youthoutlook.org .

We know the saying "What do you call a college, university, educated, or professional black person?

A "N" you supply the rest. Means whatever achievements, accomplishments, sacrifices, we as people individually and collectively meant little to the larger society as a whole; depressing isn’t it?

Except we’ve heard it so many time we many of us no longer give a snit about since we are part of that larger society too.

When white children, adults, protest police see their son, daughter’s, father’s, mother’s, brother’s in the crowd metaphorically if not in reality.

But add color to the exact same mix, same issues, and you get maddened cops wanting to smash heads of unruly people who to them are alien.

Black and all rainbow folks are always seen as alien.

Ra'shida and JR Valrey aren’t seen as reporters doing their jobs but as more blacks causing trouble. [as if recording what they do is the problem not what their doing that is the cause.

a black female police officer grabbed Ra'shida by the neck and placed her in a chokehold.

Male, Female cops black, white, whatever might have a sort of us/them mentality in that everyone out of uniform is a potential enemy that means men, children, the elderly, and as for reporters the female cop didn’t care she wanted a piece of Ms. Ra'shida badly enough to hurt her, draw blood.

Using they motorcycles as weapons running down people and if your in their way it didn’t matter your fault for being on the street in the way.

This is why I rarely go to rally/protests because most if not every time those trusted folks in blue love to take sticks and guns to black bodies.

Whites too feel set upon by vicious cops in peaceful marches/protest/rallies too.

Now you get what we’ve been saying all a long "When you or child gets bloodied or God forbids dies for being in the wrong place at the wrong time you’ll know what we’ve been saying is true.

Cops in uniform see everyone out of uniform even brother/sister officers not in uniform are seen as enemies.
