My thoughts: I thought that the general strike was impressive because there was thousands and thousands of people out there saying ldquo; We are the 99 percentrdquo;.nbsp; What the 99 percent is are all the workers in the world who get paid low-wage on jobs.nbsp; The 1 percent is all the bank corruption and the bankers from Wall Street./p

In the general strike, we marched all the way to the bridge then we stopped.nbsp; We stopped because there were a lot of youth scholars and mamas and we did not want to get lost on that bridge.nbsp;nbsp; We stayed there a little bit then we danced with Loco span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Bloco" data-scaytid="1"Bloco/span but the kids thought it was funny how the adults danced.nbsp; Speaking of dancing, on the way back, the kids were dancing!nbsp; The adults wersquo;re really laughing./p

When we were in the middle of the trip we ran into span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Mcdee’s" data-scaytid="3"Mcdeersquo;s/span and we ate.nbsp; We saw the bridge and it was crowded with protestors like a herd of rhinos whilenbsp;wenbsp;were driving out of Oakland, CA.nbsp; We went to the place many times, mostly for the organization ldquo;Occupy Oaklandrdquo;.nbsp;/p

It was a really hot day so we decided to go to a food place to get a cold drink.nbsp; Then we went to the big round meeting place near the end of the park.nbsp; They were plotting a next march that I did not hear because I got really hungry and ate some more food.nbsp; When I came back, my mom said we were leaving and I said ldquo;Finallyrdquo;, but did not know that we were going on a march with them.nbsp; So I just went.nbsp; So we walked all the say to city hall, stopped there, then they talked a little bit then the march was on.nbsp; We mad a right at city hall then we went to this coffee shop (I donrsquo;t know why).nbsp; We crossed the street and went down a block or two, then we went back.nbsp; It was pretty fun because my Uncle span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Muteado" data-scaytid="7"Muteado/span played sword fight and I won.nbsp; strongTo be continuedhellip;/strong/p

Continued:nbsp; span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Muteado" data-scaytid="9"Muteado/span congratulated me that I won.nbsp; After a few hours of planning on who knows what, we left for real.nbsp; While we were in the car there was someone talking. Then span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Muteado" data-scaytid="13"Muteado/span played ldquo;Passrdquo;: and I saw him do a span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Chilena" data-scaytid="15"Chilena/span.nbsp; Then we went back and I saw the audience voting for POOR Magazine.nbsp; We went to the car to go to Whole Foods to buy some mac and cheese for everyone.nbsp; The span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="mach" data-scaytid="17"mach/span was about how they were going to span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="decolonize" data-scaytid="19"decolonize/span Oakland.nbsp; They went to the coffee shop because they wanted support.nbsp; We went up two blocks to just find a place to rest but we didnrsquo;t, and then we also got free stickers of span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="decolonize" data-scaytid="21"decolonize/span Oakland.nbsp;/p
p
nbsp;/p
p
We call it span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Decolonize" data-scaytid="23"Decolonize/span Oakland because the Bay Area is occupied span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Ohlone" data-scaytid="25"Ohlone/span land.nbsp; As you may or may not know, span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Ohlones" data-scaytid="27"Ohlones/span occupied these lands thousands of years ago.nbsp; Then the pioneers came and took it over.nbsp; I think you all know that but what I think you all donrsquo;t know is it was the span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Ohlone" data-scaytid="29"Ohlone/span lands first then the pioneers came and took it over.nbsp; Because the Indians didnrsquo;t have much of a fight because they only had spears and stuff and the colonizers had guns and stuff they used the span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Ohlone" data-scaytid="31"Ohlone/span as slaves and did not let them hunt or do their traditional dances./p
p
nbsp;/p
p
Now revolutionaries are standing up and we are fighting back for the land that is rightfully ours and all the span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="decolonizers" data-scaytid="33"decolonizers/span, all the general strikers and what were fighting for and what we still are after all the years of slavery and jobs that you have to risk your lives on just to get blood stained span class="scayt-misspell" data-scayt_word="Amerikkkan" data-scaytid="35"Amerikkkan/span dollars to buy food that is not even good for you./p
